Consider General Plan amendments to Section 12-480-2 Neighborhood 1, Southeast Centerville, providing future development guidelines for the Pages Lane Commercial Area - Ordinance No. 2018-08
RECOMMENDATION
Following a public hearing on this matter, approve Ordinance No. 2018-08 amending Section 12-480-2 Neighborhood 1, Southeast Centerville, providing future development guidelines for the Pages Lane Commercial Area.
BACKGROUND
On September 13, 2017, the City Council received a recommendation from the Planning Commission to amend Section 12-480-2 of the General Plan regarding the Pages Lane Commercial Area. On October 2, 2017 and November 8, 2017, the City Council held public hearings on the proposed amendments as recommended by the Planning Commission. After several additional meetings to discuss this matter, the City Council directed Staff to substantially revise the proposed amendments and to thereafter notice and hold another public hearing on the proposed amendments. The revised edits to Section 12-480-2 of the General Plan regarding the Pages Lane Commercial Area have been prepared by Staff and notice of the additional public hearing has been provided. No additional updated Staff Report is provided for the new edits, but previous Staff Reports from the Planning Commission review are attached.
